Study Circles
As with other activities, study circles are open to Bahá’ís and non-Bahá’ís. They have been created to develop spiritual insights and practical skills in older teens and adults so that they can be of service to their communities. Using materials developed for collective study, participants explore spiritual concepts and learn how to apply them to everyday life. The first two books in the sequence are Reflections on the Life of the Spirit where themes like understanding Bahá’í teachings, prayer, and life after death are explored; and Arising to Serve where we learn what it means to be service to humanity and how we can work to fulfill this goal. A key component to all study circles is that of service projects. Guidelines for these are provided in the course materials but how, when, and where they are implemented remains up to the discretion of the group.
Bahá’ís in Bermuda along with their friends, co-workers, and neighbours join millions of others in many countries who are also taking part in these programmes. We invite you to participate in one of the study circles that are organized locally.
